February

February is the shortest month. 28 days, sometimes 29 if it is a leap year. It is Black History Month, we may have celebrated Valentines Day, Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Abraham Lincoln’s and George Washington’s birthday. I am sure I missed some notable events.

I was able to attend King/Mandela: Race, Reconciliation and Lessons Moving Forward at the History Colorado Center. It was organized by brother jeff and the History Colorado Center. I appreciate the opportunity to hear from people that are working hard to continue the conversation about race and privilege, that I needed to hear.

Joanna Ford at Joanna Ford Counseling attends community events to learn about cultural differences and honor them.
