Change equals Hope?

Is change a synonym for hope as Linda Ellerbee said? We have all experienced change. Everyone I know tells me, change is the only constant. How should we manage it, that is the real question.

How does summer turn into fall. It seems to come in stages, maybe the nights are cooler, it stays dark later in the morning, you might see leaves start to change color. Can we hang on to summer? If we long for it to stay summer, does it work?

These are some of the questions I ask myself when considering my own aging process. I find again and again that it does not pay to lament the changing seasons and the changes that I experience. There is no stopping it, we are all aging, changing and hopefully growing.
